Weiss Sakhizada
Weiss Sakhizada started Jiu-Jitsu in 2011. His most prominent years of learning were spent training under JT Torres from whom he earned his black belt. A decorated competitor with important titles at black and brown belt, including a Pan Am title and victories over black belt world champions. He founded Sucker Free in 2017 to provide a premium training atmosphere that is hygienic, thoughtful and inclusive. Now, with over a decade of teaching experience, Weiss’s focus is to help students build their unique games while emphasizing well-roundedness. He is currently training under Zata Toscano.

Instructor
Alli Sakhizada
Alli started training jiu jitsu in Atlanta, Georgia after years of training solo for ultra running and playing soccer. She has been grappling since October 2020 and moved to New York in 2022. Alli won the IBJJF New York Open at blue belt in 2023 and earned her purple belt shortly after. At purple belt, Coach Alli has won the IBJJF NY Open Class tournament in 2025. As a new brown belt, Alli's focus is bringing more women into the sport and creating the opportunity for more women and girls to take up space on the mats.

Erik Hynes
Hynes started training at Sucker Free in 2018. He joined because of the mindset and the environment. He has consistently competed at all ranks, holding multiple IBJJF titles and winning bronze at the IBJJF Nogi World Championship in the purple belt division and a silver medal at IBJJF Pan American Championship at brown belt. He is a coach and the general manager, currently training to earn his black belt. Hynes maintains a clean and safe environment in the training room, welcoming all newcomers.
